Big Pharma runs the Opioid Pandemic like a business, and just like any other business, they issue market reports showing the state of the market and projections for growth in order to attract investment. This article reveals the pure greed and evil that comprises the backbone of Big Pharma.

Specifically, there is a market report titled ‘Opioid Use Disorder Market Worth $4.5 Billion by 2026 | CAGR: 10.1%: Grand View Research, Inc.‘ which was broadcast over the global PRNewswire, just like other corporate announcements and market reports.

When it comes down to it, this report is saying that the opioid dependence treatment market will grow by 10% every year, and therefore it is a hot investment.

In other words, Big Pharma has their eye on making more and more money with their opioid treatment drugs, including Buprenorphine, Methadone, Naltrexone, and various mixtures of these synthetic opioids, and is therefore proudly projecting that the amount of these drugs being purchased will increase by hundreds of millions of dollars per year in an exponential fashion.

Equivalently, this means that Big Pharma does not expect their opioid dependence treatment drugs to stop the Opioid Pandemic at all, but rather, the Opioid Pandemic will continue growing out of control and they’ll make more and more money on it.

Indeed, in the report it says this: “Rising opioid epidemic and growing government initiatives to combat the crisis are likely to propel market growth. In addition, growing commercialization of novel products is further anticipated to drive growth.”

This is particularly maddening considering that Big Pharma is the one causing the Opioid Pandemic in the first place, since Big Pharma is the one pushing and lobbying for more and more of their synthetic opioid drugs to be approved and sold en masse.

Just like any other business, Big Pharma tries to sell as much synthetic opioids as possible in order to make more money, and the aggressive capitalistic nature of Big Pharma is the cause of the Opioid Pandemic.

Big Pharma only cares about money, not lives. In-fact, this report literally discusses how Big Pharma is planning on making billions of dollars per year at an increasing rate off of people who have had their lives broken by opioid addiction and are seeking treatment.

It gets worse. The opioid addiction treatment drugs that Big Pharma offers, Methadone and Buprenorphine, are dangerous and deadly synthetic opioids themselves, and they do not solve opioid addiction, they just perpetuate it and lead to a deadly cycle of relapse.

Indeed, there are practically no stories of people quitting opioids via Methadone or Buprenorphine. Rather, most of the subjective stories out there indicate that Methadone and Buprenorphine are more addictive than Heroin and made the patient’s lives even worse, and eventually the patients go crazy and relapse onto hard drugs.

Coming full circle, Big Pharma does everything they can to flood the country with synthetic opioids, and their greed knows no end, so they also try to make as much money as they can and perpetuate the opioid pandemic by labeling the dangerous and deadly synthetic opioids Methadone and Buprenorphine as ‘opioid treatment drugs’, locking opioid dependent people into a vicious cycle.

This report proves that Big Pharma expects this vicious cycle to grow by 10% per year, inaverdently acknowledging that their opioid treatment drugs only make things worse, but they are willing to inaverdently acknowledge that if it means attracting more investment money.

The companies that are making the big bucks on the ‘opioid use disorder’ market, i.e. the market of giving dangerous Methadone and Buprenorphine to people with opioid dependence in order to perpetuate the opioid pandemic, include Indivior, Alkermes, Titan Pharmaceuticals, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Teva Pharmaceuticals, MediciNova, Orexo, Camurus, and Omeros.

Also, another report reveals the Big Pharma companies which are making the most money on selling dangerous and deadly synthetic opioids for pain management, which include Purdue Pharma L.P.; Allergan; West-Ward Pharmaceuticals Corporation; Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Pfizer, Inc.; Egalet Corporation; and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited.

Notably, Big Pharma makes $25 billion on selling synthetic opioids, and roughly another $5 billion on synthetic opioids that are labeled as treatment drugs.

Thus, 17 Big Pharma companies are happy to perpetuate and exacerbate the opioid pandemic, even if it kills 50,000 Americans per year, just so they can make a revenue of $30 billion. To pour salt in the wound, they proudly broadcast their expectations for growth in the industry, i.e. the opioid pandemic becoming bigger and more deadly, in order to attract investment.

On a final note, for the same reasons that Big Pharma wants to make the Opioid Pandemic worse just to make more money, Big Pharma wants Kratom to be banned, since Kratom ends opioid dependence according to scientific studies and numerous subjective reports, and every person who is able to quit synthetic opioids is money out of Big Pharma’s pocket, and the only thing that matters to Big Pharma is money, and therefore Kratom saving lives is a bad thing in the eyes of Big Pharma.
